Helping the BIPOC Community Live Well Without Shame

Formerly known as Let’s Get Mentally Fit, the BIPOC Wellness Collective is a nonprofit organization committed to helping the BIPOC community live well without shame. We focus on enhancing emotional well-being by providing resources, education, and support that empower individuals to think better, eat better, sleep better, and ultimately, feel better.

Our mission is to foster a space where BIPOC individuals can thrive emotionally, mentally, and physically. We believe everyone deserves access to culturally relevant and compassionate mental health care, and we’re here to make that a reality for our community.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs designed to address the unique needs of BIPOC individuals and families. Here’s how we’re making a difference:

Pathways to Practice Mentor/Intern Program

Wellthy Mama Program

Mental Health Financial Assistance Fund

Our Mission

The BIPOC Wellness Collective is dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of BIPOC communities. We aim to destigmatize mental health and wellness by providing the tools and resources needed to live healthier, happier lives. Our programs focus on creating safe spaces, offering emotional support, and teaching practical strategies to enhance overall well-being, free from shame or judgment.

Educational Webinars

Our 45-minute free educational webinars cover a variety of topics, from seasonal affective disorder to debunking common myths about mental health medication. These webinars provide valuable information and practical strategies to help our community understand and manage their mental health better. Delivered by experts, these sessions are designed to be accessible and informative, giving participants tools to enhance their wellness journey.

Culturally Connected Care Network

At the BIPOC Wellness Collective, we understand the importance of culturally responsive care. Many BIPOC individuals prefer working with mental health and wellness providers who share their cultural background and understand their lived experiences. That’s why we’ve developed our Referral Program, specifically designed to connect individuals with BIPOC practitioners.

Through this program, we help our community members find mental health and wellness professionals who are not only qualified but also deeply connected to the BIPOC experience. Whether you’re seeking a therapist, counselor, nutritionist, or wellness coach, our referral network focuses on connecting you with providers who can offer the culturally sensitive care you deserve.

Our goal is to make it easier for BIPOC individuals to find and access providers who truly understand their needs, fostering better outcomes and more meaningful therapeutic relationships.
